myExam 3D Camera Auto Registration and Auto Positioning
The video shows you how the Auto Registration and Auto Positioning of the myExam 3D Camera works.
Target group: Basic users.
Duration: 4 min | Audio included.
The My Exam 3D camera is used to acquire patient data in three dimensions. The 3D camera is mounted on the ceiling directly above the patient table in the examination room. You can use the 3D camera for routine examinations of patients within the typical adult size range. Please note it is not optimized for examinations requiring special equipment that could prevent the proper detection of body landmarks, the ISO center of a patient or pediatric and trauma patient examinations. The 3D camera automatically acquires images of the patient when the patient is on the table and the table is in the home position. The images provide information on the patient's Physiology, height, weight and the following positions, head or feet first and supine or prone supported body regions. For automatic table positioning with flexible coils in the supine, patient position include shoulder, elbow, hand, wrist, knee, foot, ankle, hip, pelvis, thorax, heart and liver. The detected patient position and body regions are shown on the select and go display. The supported body regions can be selected for automatic table positioning. You can position the patient before or after registration. If you start the registration after the patient positioning, the camera automatically determines the patient's height, weight and position and the corresponding fields in the registration dialogue are pre filled. In the scheduler, click the register patient icon. The registration tab opens. The field's height, weight and patient orientation are automatically filled with the data that has been detected by the 3D camera. These fields are indicated by a Nympho icon. Check the data for height, weight and patient orientation and if necessary modify this data. Enter all other required registration data and proceed as usual. If you enter the registration data manually and then position the patient, the data from the My Exam 3D camera is detected and shown before the examination starts, but only if it does not match the manually entered values. Click the exam button to start the examination. The dialogue box Check Patient Data opens if the difference between the manually entered data and the data captured by the 3D camera is greater than the defined threshold. In this dialogue, the manually entered values for height, weight and orientation are compared with the values detected by the camera. Check the data and click the corresponding select button to choose the registration data or the detected data. At this stage you can still manually change the registration data if necessary. Make your selection and select Confirm to start the examination or select Cancel to go back to the patient registration tab to change the patient data. The 3D camera recognizes when no patient is on the table. In this case, the current values are deleted to ensure that new values are used for the next patient. These values are also deleted when the patient orientation has changed, for example from head first to feet first. The values are not deleted if you move the table to the home position without repositioning the patient or changing the selected body region. For example when the table is moved after scanning or for administration of contrast agent.
