MULTIX Impact Smart Virtual Ortho with Camera and Auto Detection

MULTIX Impact Smart Virtual Ortho (w/ Camera and Auto Detection) MULTIX Impact VA20 and Higher Prerequisites: • Smart Virtual Ortho is configured • An Ortho Long Leg or Full Spine organ program is selected • The collimator must be in the 0° lock-in-position • The tube unit is positioned in detent and centered to the detector at the correct SID • For Ortho acquisitions at the wall stand, the detector unit must be in the 0° position • Position the patient upright on the Ortho Stand or flat on the tabletop • The Ortho menu is displayed on the Tube TUI Process Steps: 1. For Region of Interest Auto-Detection, select the camera icon on the imaging system. The ROI is automatically detected and shown with a blue frame on the imaging system. If necessary, adjust the upper and lower border lines to define the imaging range on the Control Console. Collimating the left or right border lines will adjust the width of your region of interest (ROI). Performing Acquisitions and Postprocessing steps: 1. Ensure the correct exposure factors are set for each required step in the ortho series at the Control Console. 2. With the patient maintaining positioning, press and hold the acquisition switch until all exposures are completed, and the tube returns to its original position. Note: Releasing the acquisition switch before all images are acquired will result in the interruption of the series. The exam will need to be repeated in its entirety. 3. Once the series acquisition is complete, release the switch. Auto-composing of the image then occurs. 4. Measurements can be made to the composed image before saving under the View tab. Steps are adjusted from first to last by shifting the lower image left, right, up, or down relative to the image above. Select Next after each image. 7. Select Save once completed to finish the process and save the composed image. Acquiring a second view steps: 1. Return to the examination tab and select Add OGP.
