If necessary (defined in the organ program), move the system to the patient transfer position: Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 2. Attach the arm board at the predefined position. 3. Position the patient head-first for the left hand/wrist or feet first for the right hand/wrist. 4. Position the arm so that the region of interest lies in the light field. 5. Fixate the arm and hand of the patient. Patient motion during the scan will decrease the image quality. 6. Move the system to the first soft stop (a.p. position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 7. Check if the region of interest is correctly positioned in the light field. The hand must be covered by the light field. 8. Move the system to the second soft stop (lateral position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 9. Adapt the lateral collimation in a horizontal direction and adjust the table height if necessary. 10. Instruct the patient not to move. 11. Check if the region of interest is correctly positioned in the light field. 6. Move the system to the second soft stop (lateral position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 7. Adjust the table height, if necessary. Ensure that the light field covers the head. 8. Instruct the patient not to move and to hold their breath or to breathe shallow. 9. Position the patient feet first on the table. 4. Use proper positioning aids and fixate both feet to assure stability of the knee joint. Patient motion during the scan will decrease the image quality. 5. Move the system to the first soft stop (a.p. position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 6. Check if the region of interest is correctly positioned in the light field. The knee joint must be covered by the light field. Align the horizontal line just below the patella. 7. Move the system to the second soft stop (lateral position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 8. Use proper positioning aids to position the knee and adjust the table height, if necessary. Ensure that the light field covers the foot. 9. Instruct the patient not to move. 10. Patient motion during the scan will decrease the image quality. If possible, position the other foot out of the field of view. 5. Move the system to the first soft stop (a.p. position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 6. Check if the region of interest is correctly positioned in the light field. The foot/ankle must be covered by the light field. 7. Move the system to the second soft stop (lateral position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 8. Use proper positioning aids to position the foot and adjust the table height, if necessary. Ensure that the light field covers the foot. 9. Instruct the patient not to move. 10. If necessary (defined in the organ program), move the system to the patient transfer position: Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 2. Position the RAX stand on the marks on the floor. 3. If necessary, position additional platforms on the RAX stand. 4. Position the patient with the back to the RAX stand. 5. Position the patient's left foot on the outer left dashed line and the right foot on the outer right-dashed line. The heels must be close to the rearmost horizontal line. 6. If necessary, raise the hand grip of the RAX stand to a higher position. 7. Instruct the patient to stand comfortably and have the patient put their hands on their head or use the hand grip. 8. Have the patient lean on the back wall of the RAX stand, if possible. 9. Position the patient's left foot on the outer left dashed line, if the left knee is to be scanned. For the right knee, position the foot on the outer right-dashed line. The heel must be close to the rearmost horizontal line. 6. Instruct the patient to stand comfortably and hold on to the hand grip for support and stability. If necessary for additional patient support, the leg support can be used. 7. Move the system to the first soft stop (lateral position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 8. Check if the region of interest is correctly positioned in the light field. The knee joint must be covered by the light field. Align the horizontal line just below the patella by using the blue up/down buttons on the Wireless Remote Control. 9. Move the system to the second soft stop (a.p. position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 10. Ensure that the light field covers the knee and instruct the patient not to move. 11. If necessary (defined in the organ program), move the system to the patient transfer position: Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 2. Position the RAX stand on the floor markings. 3. Position the patient with the back to the RAX stand. 4. Position the patient's left foot on the outer left dashed line if the left hip joint is to be scanned. For the right hip joint, position the right foot on the outer right-dashed line. The heel must be close to the rearmost horizontal line. 5. Instruct the patient to stand comfortably and hold on to the hand grip for support and stability. 6. Move the system to the first soft stop (lateral position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 7. Check if the region of interest is correctly positioned in the light field. The hip joint must be covered by the light field. 8. Align the horizontal line just below the femoral head by using the blue up/down buttons on the Wireless Remote Control. 9. Move the system to the second soft stop (a.p. position): Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. Ensure that the light field covers the hip joint. 10. If necessary (defined in the organ program), move the system to the patient transfer position: Press and hold the SmartMove button on the Wireless Remote Control. 2. Position the RAX stand on the marks on the floor. 3. Position two additional platforms on the RAX stand. 4. Position the patient with the back to the RAX stand. 5. Position the patient's foot on the central marking of the additional platform and the patient's back to the wall of the RAX stand. The heel must be close to the rearmost horizontal line. 6. Instruct the patient to stand comfortably and hold on to the hand grip for support and stability. If necessary for additional patient support, the leg support can be used. 7.
