Multitom RAX: Performing Real 3D table acquisitions During the exam, the system will offer guidance through prompts on the workstation screen and the overhead tube face. 1. Press and hold the SmartMove button on the wireless remote control (along with the Dead Man Grip (DMG) on the back to move the system into the start position. The table will be high and the tube and detector will be in place for the scan. 5. Position the patient with the area of interest centered in the light field. For knees, center the knee of interest in the light field, keeping the knees close together. For foot/ankle, center foot/ankle of interest in the light field. Position the other leg out of the FoV. 6. Press and hold the SmartMove button to start the test run. Monitor for any collisions. 7. Ensure anatomy is centered laterally. If necessary, adjust the table height using the remote control by selecting the table button and using the blue buttons to raise or lower the table. For other adjustments, move the patient. 8. Press and hold the SmartMove button again to complete the test run. Hold until prompted to disengage. Continue to monitor for collisions. 9. In the control room, use any exposure button (on the console, hand switch*, back of multi- function joystick*, or fluoroscopy pedal*) to start acquisition by pressing the button and holding it throughout the entire duration of the scan. 10. Once the scan is complete, use either the SmartMove button to move the system into the transfer position or the lower left purple button to move to the start position to repeat the scan. 11. Acquired images will be automatically sent to the syngo.via View&GO Workstation. *Items marked with an asterisk are options.
