Multitom Rax: How to Perform RAX PANO (RAXortho) supine

This job aid discusses the steps to do transverse stitching of two images at the table for coverage of up to 80 cm. 

How to Perform RAXortho: Transversal SmartOrtho Lying Multitom Rax This option is used for transverse stitching of up to three images at the table for coverage of up to 100 x 43 cm. 1. Select the correct Organ Program (i.e. Pelvis) and use the Smart Move button to move the overhead tube and detector unit into place. The detector unit will start off to the side of the table rather than directly underneath. i Press the OGP/Move button until the position is reached 2. The patient is already positioned in the center of the table. Enter the TOD by pulling the tape measure to the center of the anatomy or measure from the table to the center of the anatomy and enter the distance manually on the tube. Adjust the collimation top to bottom. i Enter TOD. Adjust collimation. Afterwards set first Ortho position. To set the first Ortho position, move the tube laterally along the orange/green (right/left) track until the laser light is positioned at the side of the patient which should be the edge of the image. Select the circular icon with the number 1 in it. Tape 10.5 cm Device Measure Position Generator Setup Panorama 4. Move the tube transversely along the orange/green track to the other side of the patient until the laser light is positioned at what should be the other edge of the image. Press the exposure button halfway down until the tube and detector move into place (rotation around vertical axis). When the next text box appears, push the exposure button the rest of the way down to release the exposure. Hold the button down until both images have been taken. i i Press precontact to move to Instruct patient to stand still. start position Release acquisition.
