Multifunctional Wireless Footswitch (Option) Job Aid CIARTIC Move The optional multifunctional wireless footswitch offers the same functions as the standard footswitch and the multifunctional wired version, such as radiation release and image storage. The following image shows the standard configuration of the multifunctional wireless footswitch. This will switch on the footswitch automatically. Swivel the stirrup into the upright position until it locks. The footswitch is now ready to use. The footswitch automatically switches to standby mode if it is not used for a certain period of time. Activate it again by pressing any button or pedal. Selecting the Operating Mode Press the MODE button several times to select one of the operating modes: Single image, Fluoro, SUB, Roadmap or a video source (depending on the available operating modes). MODE Ang.0º The selected operating mode is indicated in the wGym Acquisition area and on the control panel of the C-arm 17 system. The information provided in this document refers to the default settings. Use the right pedal to activate Fluoroscopy. MODE Keep the foot pedal pressed during radiation release. CMODE Press the left pedal to activate the currently selected operating mode. Exception: If Fluoroscopy (CFC) mode is selected, the left pedal MODE is assigned the Single Image operating mode. In this case, keep pressing the pedal until the radiation stops automatically. Store images Press the save button to store images. () woce • Last image hold (LIH): Hold the key for less than two seconds to save the image last recorded. -MODE • Last scene hold (LSH): Hold the key for more than two seconds to save the scene last recorded. The images are stored in the local database. They are transferred from the left side of the monitor to the right side of the monitor unless the Hold Reference function is active. To open the battery compartment, lightly press the knob and turn it counterclockwise. 2. Remove the batteries and insert 3 new batteries (battery type LR14/C-battery) into the footswitch. 3. To close the battery compartment, insert the knob into the + depressions. Ensure that the colored symbols on the footswitch are lined up with the ones on the holder to avoid inserting the wrong footswitch.
