I. You can use the upper body radiation protection to reduce scattered radiation to the upper body of the examiner. It decreases the exposure of the eyes and thyroid to radiation. Please note, don't hang any objects on the upper body radiation protection since the additional weight could pull it down and watch out for possible collisions during unit movements. Now let's see how to move the upper body radiation protection along the ceiling rail. Pull down and turn the brake handle. Now you can move the carriage freely on the ceiling rail. Release the brake handle. Finally, position the radiation protection window so that it protects the examiner's eyes and thyroid during patient positioning and when you are not using it. Position the upper body radiation protection outside the swivel range of the system.
