As the operator, you must take care to avoid collisions when moving the mobile C ARM system. Use the system only if you can observe the patient and other persons during movement. Do not position the system on inclined surfaces greater than five degrees. The C ARM system is equipped with collision detectors. If a collision is detected, all movements are stopped. The Lidar sensor will detect objects straight ahead and will slow down the system. The collision indicator on the panel will indicate if the system detects a collision. You will have to slowly move the system out of the collision or remove the object in the path of the system after a detected collision. You can only move the C arm system out of the collision site at reduced speed. Please note, if you operate the C arm in standalone mode and a collision is detected, you need to plug in the monitor trolley to find out where the collision occurred. When you use the hand control to operate the system, always make sure that the path of movement is free from obstructions. Observe the movement path of the C arm system continuously. When you are using the store positions feature of the system, the system is going to drive in a direct way. The system might use a different path every time in case of an emergency, and if motorized movements are not possible, use the rescue button to move the C arm. To do so, continuously press the rescue button to move the C arm system to the desired position. You will need a greater amount of force to move the system. In this case you might need more than one operator.
