Monitor the throughput of your CT scanners

This video shows how to navigate the Throughput Monitoring page, adjust filter settings, and interpret charts to analyze CT scanner performance. You'll learn to view exam distributions by time and day to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.

In this short video, you'll learn about the key indicators for monitoring your scanner's performance. Throughput monitoring helps you analyze the number and duration of examinations, including details like exam distribution over time and whether contrast agents were used. Please note the data shown in this video is for demonstration purposes only and is not representative. Go to the throughput monitoring page and adjust the filter settings if needed. The Number of Exams Over time chart shows the number of examinations across your fleet by month, week or date to. Change between month, week. Or date. Use the arrow on the date field. Beneath the diagram. The bar chart for Exam distribution by weekday shows the average number of CT exams done each day of the week. If you want to see the average throughput numbers for a specific weekday, like Fridays, click on that day in the exam distribution chart. The charts will update to show all the values for Fridays within your selected time frame. The bar chart for Exam distribution by Hour shows the average number of exams done in each time slot during the day across your fleet. This helps you identify the busiest and quietest hours in your institution. For example, an average of 12.7 exams were done at 2:00 PM. By clicking on this hour, you can see the maximum and minimum number of exams done in the time range from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, such as the entire last year. This information helps you decide on measures like rescheduling exams or changing staff allocation. For each CT scanner, which has the Siemens Fleet Link option and is enabled in the Team Play Device Administration, the bar chart four slot length shows the total exam duration and time between exams. This helps you check if the slot lengths meet your targets. Shorter preparation or aftercare times mean shorter gaps between exams. To reduce slot length. Consider better scheduling, coordination and rebalancing procedure. Types hint. Exam duration is the time from the start. Of the.
