On the Laser Configuration tab, you can define Patient Marking workflow and laser communication. The Siemens default Workflow Type is Markerless workflow. With Workflow Setup, the names and colors can be adjusted from the default. On the Laser System Properties, most facilities use the 2 movable laser axis choices as the lasers move in the lateral and vertical planes. The longitudinal shift is done by physically moving the tabletop to the calculated position. RT Configuration ? The Calibration Offset is defined at the time of scanner installation and/or 3rd party laser installation. This should not be changed without the assistance of a Siemens Healthineers authorized engineer, as the incorrect value can lead to incorrect coordinate values. Note: When using the Siemens Healthineers-mounted gantry lasers, the Calibration Offset value must also be entered on the scanner in Laser Calibration. The Export to Laser System should be set up with the assistance of a Siemens Healthineers authorized engineer, facility Information Technology (IT) department, and the 3rd party laser vendor (LAP, Gammex, etc.) at the time of installation.
