MAMMOMAT TOMO - Performing a Phantom Test

Step one, register a patient named Tomoe Phantom. Step 2 from the procedure dropdown in the open Patient Subtest card, select the procedure quseir automo. Step three from the exposure dropdown menu, select the AEC exposure technique 28 KV and the most commonly used filter W RH tungsten. Step four, click the advanced button to open advanced settings. Step 5 Select the following. Auto decomp off. Opcom on. AEC segmentation off. Normal dose level. Step six, position the Phantom on the detector center with no gap. Step 7 perform compression to op comp. Step 8. Perform exposure. Step 9, After reconstruction, scroll through the slices and select the slice where the objects are best visible. To evaluate the image, use the magnification tool zoom or grayscale inversion to adapt the window values if necessary. If the viewing conditions are considered to be poor when the image is reviewed on the AWS, send the image to the reporting station for further examination. Ensure that the following number of objects are visible. Fibers four or more specs. Three or more masses, three or more. Step 10 Flip the Phantom over with the wax insert facing the detector. Step 11 Repeat steps three through 7. Step 12 record the result on the test four test report form. Step 13 on the close exam, subtest card closed the exam.
