MAMMOMAT B.brilliant - Breast biopsy - Calibration (USA)

The biopsy unit should be calibrated. Once a year a reminder message will appear on your monitor. To start the biopsy calibration, select Biopsy Calibration from the Patient drop down menu on the examination task card. The biopsy table should be mounted on the object table and plugged into the swivel arm for the calibration. 3 stereo pairs must be acquired with the calibration needle. Please note that biopsy calibration is performed without a compression plate. Make sure that no paddle and needle holder is mounted. Press the button Move to position to get the system in the start position. When the system movement is done, the message insert the calibration needle and acquire the scan appears on the acquisition workstation. Insert the needle holder and the calibration needle at the system, then acquire the scan.
