This video introduces you to 2D FFDM, which is a mammography acquisition where you acquire two views of each breast.

A2DF F. D. M is a mammography. Acquisition where you? Acquire 2 views of each breast. In total, this includes 4. Views RCCLCC. RMLO and LMLO, when registering a new patient, select a bilateral mammogram procedure, the corresponding PVS. Or. Projection views open. The first PV. Appears yellow when it is active. The corresponding acquisition mode in IPPG. For the selected procedure. Appear in the acquisition subtask card. If required select. A different IPPG from the ippg selection list. The currently. Selected exposure parameters are. Displayed in the generator control field. The patient details appear on the comfort guide display on the system after the registration. Press the. Ready button on the system. Position the patient at the. System and compress the. Breast. After. You have. Compressed. The. Breast. Come back to the acquisition workstation monitor. The PV. View is now white. Press the. Exposure button on your control box. The PV shows you the progress of the exposure the paddle. Lifts automatically after each acquisition when. The. 2nd. PV turns yellow. Position the patient at the system again for the imaging of the second breast. After. You have compressed the left breast. The second PV turns white and you can release the next exposure. The third. PV is an MLO. Exposure. When the icon turns yellow, go to the system and check the message on the Comfort Guide display. Press the ready button so that the tube moves for the next exposure. Position the patient, compress the breast again, then press the exposure button again. After you have repeated all of these steps for the 4th PV, you have finished the two DF. FDM workflow.
