Magnifier (USA)

The magnifier tool allows you to zoom in on a selected anatomical region of an image. Please keep in mind that the user interface may differ slightly on different host systems. To use the magnifier tool, press Control and M on the keyboard or open it from the tool gallery. You can now perform a single click on the image and magnify the desired anatomical region. Note that you can magnify only one region in an image segment. However, by using the magnifier tool in different segments, you can visualize several magnified anatomical areas at once. The magnification factor is always twice the current zoom factor of the image displayed in the segment. To hide the lens from a particular segment, double click the magnified area on that image segment. To deactivate the magnifier completely, you can press escape on your keyboard. Or deselect the tool.
