Live Graph Overlay Job Aid CIARTIC Move This document explains how to use Live graph overlay. Live graph overlay allows you to draw and edit lines in an ongoing examination. The lines can be transferred to the subsequent live images. Such graphic overlays are used, for example, in orthopedics, traumatology as well as in subtraction and roadmap examinations. For example, lines can be drawn into fill images to support the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Display the required image. 2. Open the Processing task card. 3. Press the Live graph overlay button. The Live graph overlay menu is displayed. Use the mouse to place the arrow at the desired starting point. 1. Press this button to set the starting point and vertices at the respective mouse Set pointer positions. Move the mouse to draw the line. point 2. Press this button at the required endpoint. The new line is shown as a dotted line in the image. End line To draw additional lines, repeat the steps above. Please note: When the line is drawn and no radiation has been released, the line is dotted. The old overlay is replaced by the newly drawn in lines in the following images. If you store images with the Live Graph Overlay function active, the Live Graph Overlay line will be burned into the image and cannot be deleted from the stored image anymore. Deleting Points If you have placed a point incorrectly, you can delete it immediately after you have drawn it as long as you have not set a new endpoint. Press this button to delete the last point from the image. Delete Press the button again to delete the previous point. You can continue drawing the line. selected Please note: If you delete a dotted line, then it is immediately deleted from the left image area. If you delete a solid line, then it will not be deleted from the left image area until you release radiation again. Postprocessing Lines Postprocessing via the Live graph overlay menu is only possible for newly drawn lines (dotted). You can postprocess a previously used overlay (solid lines) using the Measure Annotate menu Please refer to the Measurements and Annotations Job Aid for more information about this topic. To postprocess a newly drawn line, do the following: 1. Move the mouse pointer to the line or a point to select the given graphic object. 2. Press this button. Now, you can move the selected point or line with the arrow buttons. Edit line 3.
