This simulation will guide you through the typical steps for performing a knee examination. If you need help for navigating through the simulation, click this button. To start the simulation, click Practice. Navigation Help Select the icon above to open the table of contents. Click Next to continue. Next Welcome Slide The timeline displays the slide progression. Slide the orange bar backwards to rewind the timeline. Click the X in the upper right corner to exit the navigation help. Timeline Simulation Knee If the exam settings are fine, click on Start to start the examination. Start the examination Audio: After clicking on Exam from the organizer, a new patient tab and image viewing area will open. If you have to make any changes, you can click on the Exam Settings icon. If the exam settings are fine, click on Start to start the examination. Please click on Start to continue. Localizer is running Audio: The Auto align Localizer is running. Click on the Localizer step to check the image. Click Localizer to check the images Audio: When the Localizer has finished, the needle will move to the Quality Check step. and a message appears in the Scanning View area. Click on the Localizer step to check the image. Please click on the Localizer step to continue. After checking the Localizer images, click on Continue to go on with the examination. Continue with the examination Audio: A message in the image area indicates whether the automatic alignment was successful. After checking the Localizer images, click on Continue to go on with the examination. Please click on Continue to go on with the examination. Scan is ongoing Audio: The scan is ongoing. For example, click on t2_tse_fs_sag to check the image quality. Check the image quality Audio: Before ending the exam, you can perform quality check on the images. For example, click on t2 tse fs sag, to check the image quality. Please click on t2_tse_fs_sag to continue. Click on the Summary step to go to the Summary page. Go to the Summary page Audio: You could now scoll through the images, or go directly to the Summary page. Click on the Summary step, to go to the Summary page. Please click on the Summary step to continue. For example, click on pd_tse_fs_cor to check the image stack. Check the image stack Audio: The Summary Page will open. You can check images by clicking on the icons of the step. For example, click on pd tse fs cor, to check the image stack. Please click on the step in the workline to continue. Click on X to close the image stack and go back to the Summary page. Scroll through the image stack Audio: Use the slider or the arrows, to scroll through the images. Click on X, to close the image stack and go back to the Summary page. Please click on X to continue. To export all series: 1. Check that all the required series are selected. 2. Select the node from the drop-down menu of Send. 3. Click on Send to send all the selected series. Send images to a node Audio: You can now select series and send them to PACS and printers. Select and de-select all series to be printed or exported, by using the check boxes. To export all series: First, Check all the required series are selected. Second, Select the node from the drop down menu of Send. Third, Click on Send, to send all the selected series. Please click on Send. Click on Close to finalize the patient examination and go back to the Organizer. Close the patient and go back to the Organizer Audio: The images sent to the PACS are shown with this icon. Click on Close, to finalize the patient examination and go back to Organizer. Please click on Close to continue. Congratulations! You have successfully completed the simulation.
