
Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - Fibroadenoma - TiCEM (USA)
The additional lesion was a False Positive on MRI, but True Negative on TiCEM:
FFDM, MR, TiCEM.
64 year old lady. It was a second opinion from another center. The patient had a palpable mass and the biopsy was an invasive ductal cancer luminal a. This is the mission. One MRI performed in another center. See the index edition and. An additional enhancement muscle enhancement. In the same breast. There was no correlation with ultrasound. Then we perform a Tyson study. So we index lesion. But no additional enhancements. So there was a discordance between Tyson and MRI. We perform an MRI guided vacuum assisted biopsy of the additional lesion and the final result was a fibroadenoma. So. In conclusion, the additional lesion detected by MRI was a false positive. Result. And a two negative case for Tyson.
