Invasive ductal carcinoma, DCIS (USA)
Characterization of lesions with wa-DBT. Microcalcifications and distortions: FFDM, IN2D, DBT, SpotDBT, MAG, MR.
57 year old lady, no symptoms. Screening mammography showing B button and an architectural software architectural distortion with some microcalcifications was detected in the left breast. Here you can see on thermal the architectural distortion of both clinical and emilo views. If we focus. On the left breast. And we can compare the conventional thermal. On the spot compression. Showing clearly. Deletion. A magnification view was also performed in the area of Microcalcifications showing the microcalcifications. Finally, this is the correlation with MRI. So in a non mass enhancement. The pathology was an invasive ductal cancer. Measuring 15 millimeters plus DCIS. So the conclusion of this case is that spot compression. Is a useful tool to assess a suspicious lesion.
