Select the tab arrows to learn more about how to stop and resume an examination Resume an examination Imagine: You needed to stop an examination. After a while you want to resume the same examination now as you still need some scan. Please watch the video to learn how you can resume an examination. ? Stop an examination Imagine: Your patient needs immediate support and you cannot wait for the end of the current examination step. The examination must be stopped immediately. Practice Practice To start the simulation, click Practice. ? If you need help for navigating through the simulation, click this button. Stop an Examination Simulation Click on Stop to interrupt the exam immediately. Interrupt the examination Audio: How to support your patient XA50 - 5.mp3 The Stop button can be used at any time. It has immediate effect on the running step, and is only used in cases when immediate action is needed. Click on Stop, to interrupt the exam immediately. Please click on Stop to continue. The scan is stopped. You have two options now, depending on the condition of the patient: 1. After support, the patient is in condition to continue the examination. You can resume the exam and complete it. 2. The patient cannot continue the exam. In this case, you can skip the remaining steps, and move to the MR View&Go for image sending to the PACS. You have two options now, depending on the condition of the patient: First: After support, the patient is in condition to continue the examination. You can restart the exam and complete it. Second: The patient cannot continue the exam. In this case, you can skip the remaining steps, and move to the MR View&Go for image sending to the PACS. In this example, the patient cannot continue. This means we close the patient. Please close the patient to continue. Confirm to close the patient. The pause is applied before starting the step with the Working Man. This simulation will guide you through the typical steps, to manage this situation. Pause a step Audio: How to support your patient XA50 - 10.mp3 Your patient needs your assistance, but not immediately. You can pause the workflow. To add a pause before a step is starting, enable the Working Man icon on a step in the queue by clicking on it. Please note: For specific planned pauses, such as contrast agent injection, you can also add a pause by a right click and selecting Append Pause. Then you can position the pause in the exam queue as required. Please click on the Working Man icon to continue. Please note: If the patient has moved during the pause, repeat an Auto Align Localizer first. In this example, just click on the Working Man to re-start automatically. When you and the patient are ready to continue, you can two options to proceed with the examination: If the step was already was already planned, you can click on the working man to re-start automatically If the step is open for planning or review, you can click on GO. Please note: If the patient has moved during the pause, repeat an Auto Align Localizer first. In this example, just click on the working man to re-start automatically.
