Analyze examinations for contrast media relevant information

Teamplay Contrast assists you in the tasks of managing contrast based examinations of medical imaging devices. For example, standardizing injector parameters and optimizing contrast consumption. In this video you will experience how you can analyze your examinations with respect to contrast media information and injector protocol details from your modalities and injectors. Your aim is to optimize the contrast media used in the examinations. Therefore, from the Team Play main menu, select the Team Play Contrast application. The application starts on the Exams page. Apply filters to specify the examinations of a particular time range that you want to analyze. The exam overview provides information about exam. Distribution across your institutional categories, Modality types, Documentation State. Exam count per injector model and exam count over time. To change the chart view, just switch to the bar chart. The Contrast distribution page provides charts about the consumption of contrast media in milliliters over time and for body regions. Here too, you can toggle between the line and bar chart view. You can export the chart for documentation purposes. If you assume the consumption of contrast media is too high for exams of certain body regions, you can take further action. Maybe some skin protocols and injector protocols need to be reevaluated and revised. Adjust the injector related filter settings. If you want to focus your analysis on a particular injector or injector protocol, the. Charts will now show you the exam distribution for the selected injector and the contrast distribution for your selected injector. Select an examination from the list if you want to obtain more detailed contrast media related information about individual examinations. Advanced ICOM capable injectors create their own structured report and send it to the packs and Team play. In this example, the report generated by the injector provides contrast details such as brand name, lot identifier, volume of the injected contrast agent and atrium chloride and more. The injection duration and flow rate are shown as well as the pressure. If your institution uses DICOM capable injectors. The injection protocol data of the injector is included in the structured report Team Play Contrast. Reads out the report and visualizes the data in tables and charts if your. Institution's injectors cannot provide structured reports. The Teamplay Contrast application utilizes the DICOM black image and creates a chart from that. To make full use of the features of Teamplay Contrast, use the CT topogram. The scanner details are shown at the top of this graphic, and the sequences in the bottom line show the injector details. If you want to check whether the exam was performed as expected, look at the sequence of events such as the number of scans, contrast steps and contrast phases. You can see whether the contrast.
