How Can I Compare Scanner Performance

Teamplay usage provides functionality and key performance indicators KPIs to monitor and analyze the efficiency and performance of the diagnostic imaging processes in your institution. In this video you will learn how you compare and analyze the performance between different scanners of your fleet. Your aim is to monitor the performance of your scanner fleet and compare selected scanners against their KPIs. To do this, click the scanner analytics tile on the dashboard. This takes you directly to the Scanner Analytics page of the teamplay usage application. On the filters panel, narrow your search criteria to more easily find the scanners that you want to compare. From the scanners list, select the scanners that you want to compare. You can select any number of scanners. Nevertheless, to be able to read the charts, graphs and numbers more easily, it is advisable to limit the number of compared scanners to roughly four or five. Note you need the premium license to use the compare scanners feature. Specify a date range. Weekdays. And time of day that you want to analyze. Several charts and graphs visualize key performance indicators for the selected scanners within the time period you defined. The horizontal bar chart showing the total number of examinations performed with and without contrast agent provides you with a performance overview of the selected scanners. With this information, you may already be able to assess whether the performance of the scanners meets your institutional target. The same holds true for the pie chart with information about exam distribution by body region. Questions that you might ask yourself here are am I satisfied with the distribution of the body region related examinations across compared scanners? Do I want to better even out the exams across the scanners? Or do I want to increase the scanner specification? The scanners exam graph illustrates the variation in the number of examinations performed per day between the scanners. One reason for this fluctuation in the number of daily examinations could be the different body regions and examination types that are performed on the selected scanners. But there are also other potential factors. To investigate whether the type of examination might be a possible Causeway, you can look at the horizontal bar charts that compare the essential performance parameters across the scanners examination portfolio. The combined visualization allows you to evaluate the improvement potential and utilization impact of each examination type. As an example, let's take a closer look at the procedure. More abdomen. The graph could provide an indication that the exam duration differs just sporadically or on individual days. For example, you may have a special day of the week when you examine children or babies or other patient types on one particular MRI scanner. This could be a reason for the difference in duration. The exam list of each selected scanner contains detailed DICOM based information about every examination performed on that scanner within the defined time range.
