This course will cover the four objectives listed on this slide. For navigation help, select the question mark on the lower right corner on each slide. ? Log In and Out of the User Interface Log In and Out of the UI The User Interface, or UI for short, allows the User to manage automation and data analytics in a single interface. The UI can be accessed by browser on multiple clients. On browser opening, the initial login page appears. To login, enter your username and password, then select Sign in. To logout of the User Interface, from the User menu in the Multifunctional Toolbar at the top of the page, Logout is selected. ? Areas of the Overview Screen The User Interface Overview Screen is divided into the following areas: Multifunctional toolbar Overview bar Central workspace Lower panel Select the colored callouts on the left for a brief introduction. Note: This is an overview of the most important icons for overall system operations. All UI icons will not be covered in this overview. Areas of the Overview Screen The UI is divided into the following areas: a Multifunctional toolbar, Overview bar, Central workspace, and Lower panel. Select the colored callouts on the left for a brief introduction to each area. Lower Panel Clicking on the arrow indicator at the bottom of the UI opens the Lower panel. Central Workspace The Central Workspace displays the Automation Map or the Module Cards. The Input/Output Module (IOX) lanes, Automation Modules, and Interface Modules are displayed in the Overview > Cards screen. Overview Bar This bar is always visible below the Multifunctional toolbar. It contains the status of the Automation System, displays messages, and allows the User to start or pause the Automation System. Multifunctional toolbar This toolbar is always available at the top of the UI and allows the User to access functions and settings of the Automation System. Overview Track overall status of connected modules. Access the Automation map and module cards. Routine Contains functions relating to operations, such as searching for samples. Utility Contains accessory functions, such as barcode printing and data backups. Automation Access additional features and settings, including the Counters and Exceptions screens. Rapid Search Find data relating to samples. User Displays name of Logged-in User. Icon Area Overview of communication status and notifications. Message Area Displays warnings/errors that may require intervention. System Displays data relating to the entire System, such as System Events and Exceptions List. Setup Includes functions for personalizing the Automation Software. ? Multifunctional Toolbar The toolbar is located on the top of the User Interface. Select the markers below for a brief introduction of the toolbar functions. Multifunctional Toolbar The Multifunctional toolbar is always visible at the top of the UI and allows the User to access functions and settings of the Automation System. Select the markers for an introduction to the toolbar functions. Connection Status summary icon Summarizes general status of the communications between the analyzers and the Automation Software. Exceptions summary icon Notifies presence of unread exceptions coming from instruments. Recent tests enabling/disabling summary icon Notifies if any test has been enabled/disabled on any instrument in the last 5 minutes. Quality Control summary icon Notifies an alarm about Quality Controls. Low Level Reagents summary icon Notifies the presence of tests with low level reagents. ? Icon Area The Icon area provides an overview of the communication status and notifies exceptions messages, recent test enabling/disabling, Quality Control alarms, and low level reagent notifications. IOX buttons Lists all the Input/Output Modules configured on the current Automation System and allows to switch between them. Message area Displays a message when the Automation System is in Pause, Shutting Down, in Exercise mode, or is needed to be validated. Current State Indicates the current operating state of the entire Automation System. Start To start the Automation System. Pause To pause the Automation System. ? Overview Bar The Overview bar is always located below the Multifunctional toolbar. Select the markers below for a brief introduction of the Overview bar functions. Central Workspace The Central Workspace displays the Automation Map, or the Module Cards, depending on which option is selected in the Overview menu on the Multifunctional Toolbar. Interface Module or Automation Module card The header color and icons on the card corresponds to the Module status. Central Workspace The Central Workspace displays the Automation Map or the Module Cards. To switch between the Automation Map and the Module Cards, on the Multifunctional Toolbar, the Overview menu is selected. From there, either the Automation Map or Module Cards can be selected. Select the markers for a brief introduction to the Module Cards. ? Lower Panel The Lower panel, always accessible by means of an arrow indicator, contains summary tables relating to the System status, processing and Instrument information. Select the markers for a brief introduction to the Lower panel. Tube Status Shows the distrubution of samples for the different operating stages. Home Reports graphs for the usage percentage of the computer server, indicates the number of overdue tests and samples with errors, and summarizes the current tube processing status. Connections Monitor Provides information on the connection to the Host, Automation Systems, and Instruments. Lower Panel The Lower panel, always accessible by means of an arrow indicator, contains summary tables relating to the System status, processing and Instrument information. Select the markers for a brief introduction to the Lower panel. ? IOX Lane Status The color of each Input/Output Module (IOX) lane button identifies its status. Selecting a lane button allows the User to perform various actions depending on the lane status. Automation Modules and Interface Module Cards Under the IOX lanes, each card corresponds to a connected Interface Module or Automation Modules (except for the card for Track). Only on Analyzer cards, additional icons display the Quality Control status and the Connection status for the current instrument. Note: All QC Management will be performed through Atellica® Data Manager. Automation Modules and Interface Module Cards Under the IOM lanes, each card corresponds to a connected Interface Module or Automation Modules (except for the card for Track). Only on Analyzer cards, additional icons display the Quality Control status and the Connection status for the current instrument. The header color of the cards and the icon correspond to the Module (or Interface Module) status. The icon on the bottom left of the card displays the LIS connection status between the Analyzer and the Automation Software. The icon next to it displays the Quality Control status.
