FlexLab™ X Total Lab Automation Daily Maintenance on the Centrifuge Module Job Aid

This job aid provides instructions on how to complete daily maintenance on the Centrifuge Module. 

FlexLab TM X Total Lab Automation SIEMENS Healthineers Daily Maintenance on the Centrifuge Module Job Aid 5 Inspect Bucket Inserts on the Centrifuge Module Refer to the FlexLab X Total Lab Automation Operators Manual when performing maintenance procedures. 1. Set the Centrifuge Module Off-line 2. Lift up the Centrifuge Module cover 3. Remove the bucket inserts from the input area and the output area 4. Press the Stop/Open button to open the Centrifuge lid 5. Remove all bucket inserts from the rotor 6. Check all bucket inserts for cracks or corrosion. If any cracks or corrosion are observed, discontinue use of bucket inserts. Ensure the silicone tabs holding 6 sample tubes are not worn or broken 1 7. Return the bucket inserts into each rotor bucket paying attention to the orientation 8. Close the Centrifuge lid 9. Place a bucket insert in each location of the input area and output area, except the “O” and “A” locations 10. Close the cover Template Effective Date: 10 Aug 2021 | HILS 2223 1 11.
