Digital Mammography and Contrast Enhanced Mammography - Case 1 - USA

We'll start with case number one. It was a 71 year old lady who felt a part of a lamp in the left breast. As you can see on the conventional low energy mammographies, we can detect an asymmetry on both the low and cranial caudal views, but it is very difficult to assess the shape, margins and the size of this lesion. However, by using the contrast enhanced mammography, we can see perfectly the shape and the size of this lesion. It's a complex lesion with our logulated mass, and we can assess perfectly this mass with contrast and very difficult with the conventional 1. This lesion was finally an invasive lobular cancer measuring 30mm.
