We moved to case eight. It was a 73 year old lady with no symptoms and on conventional mammography we detected nothing. All the cross calcifications, normal calcifications, no lesions and on turbo it was not very clear if the there was a lesion on the right breast here, but it was not very easy to detect or to know if this was a real lesion or only normal fibroglandular tissue, nothing palpable. So we have a doubt in this particular case. Now we move to contrast, and on contrast we can see a ring enhancement in the right breast, corresponding to the doubt we had on tomosynthesis. So it was clearly suspicious for malignancy and the correlation with MRI was perfect. Here you can see the image on on ultrasound. It was not very clear and and the biopsy was an invasive Dr. cancer measuring 12mm. So to conclude, Tyson was very useful as a problem solving technique.
