Case #5 It was an 81 year old lady who came to our institution because of a palpable lamp in the left breast. As you can see, unconventional mammography, an irregular speculative mass was detected on both MLO and clinical view. After the administration of contrast, we can see an uptake of the mass on both MLO and cranial cloudal view, even showing a ring enhancement, which is typical of malignant lesions. If we move to the TOMO, we can see also exactly the same lesion. So the correlation is perfect between the contrast and the TOMO study. But there was a very tiny additional lesion on the control lateral breast. It was this tiny well the limited mass that was not visible unconventional nor nor in tumult synthesis. As you can see on MRI the lesion was detected, the control lateral lesion and the final astrology was an invasive ductal cancer on the left breast and a papilloma on the right breast. So in this case, the correlation between MRI and contrast enhanced mammography was very, very good.
