Decision Tree: Info Template Somaris 10 / SOMATOM go. & SOMATOM X. Systems This job aid contains the steps to customize and assign the Info Template to assist in alerting the technologist to Important Information. This will allow for better visualization of the ‘Memo’ text. This Template can be added to any protocol that requires additional steps that are not intuitive to the normal workflow. The example provided in this job aid is an Info Template to add to a CTA Runoff protocol to remind the technologist to look at the Exam Time and adjust if necessary. These steps require you to be signed in as a SuperUser. The password for this user was created during your initial turnover and will help you gain access to the Exam Designer. 1. Select the cog wheel in the upper right corner to open the Exam Designer. Under Scan Strategies in the Info Template, there are two levels to modify; Info Level and Info Text. Info Level has the following three options: The myExam Compass will populate at the top of the None chronicle, you will need to click on the Compass to see the information (use for general information, which will populate under a primary Decision Tree). The myExam Compass will populate at the top of the Information chronicle, you will need to click on the Compass to see the information. The myExam Compass will populate at the top of the Important Information chronicle, depending on where you assign the Deci- sion Tree (Topogram or Scan), there will be a pop-up prior to that scan with your information. After you have saved the Decision Tree, close the Exam Designer and re-open it for the modified Decision Tree to be available for use. Save Changes X ? You need to close Exam Designer and reopen it for the changes to take effect in the linked protocols. OK 8. Rename the Decision Tree so it is more easily recognized for the appropriate protocol. The modified Decision Tree will display at the top of the Templates list and will be named Info Template [factory] – Copy. Right-mouse-click on Info Template [factory] – Copy and select Rename. Assigned Decision Trees can be found under Scan Favorites or General Scan. From the drop-down list, select the Info Tree that was just created in the scan you would like it to populate. This Decision Tree can be used with other Decision Trees already being utilized in the protocol.
