Creating ranges (VExx)
This job aid will demonstrate how to create Parallel Ranges and Volume Ranges on VExx application software.
Creating Ranges (VEXX) job aid Angiography – Application software VE2xx An additional job aid is available on PEPconnect to determine the software version of the system. Once a 3D acquisition is acquired and reconstructed, Multiplanar Ranges (MPR) and Volume Ren- dered Technique (VRT) can be filmed and sent to PACS. Default Orientation: • Axial (Bottom left segment) = Head to Foot, Foot to Head viewing directions • Sagittal (Upper left segment) = Left to Right, Right to Left viewing directions • Coronal (Upper right segment) = Anterior to Posterior, Posterior to Anterior viewing • VRT (Bottom right segment) = Rotational viewing Creating Parallel Ranges for MPR views 1. Load a 3D volume into the 3D Sharing segment Source. 2. Select any MPR image. 3. Select Images (MPR) and select Parallel Ranges within the Segment Menu. Segment Menu ? BX Volume Slice Thickness (mm) Images (MPR) 0.0 Measurement Segmentation 1 12 Storing Image Data Selection Name X-Ray DCT Body Nat Fil Full HU Normal [AX3 .. 4. The Parallel Ranges dialogue box opens, and grid lines will appear when selected. Note: Each MPR segment has the potential to create two different sets of ranges (e.g., the Axial segment can create Sagittal and Coronal ranges). Pay attention to the viewing direc- tion arrows and orientation labels to determine the type of range being created. Icono_Neuro_Aneurysm ,...
