Correcting a Common Pitfall when Appending PET/CT Protocols on all Biograph™ Systems Video

At times it may be necessary or desirable to append a PET/CT protocol to an existing protocol. This procedure outlines how to correct a common pitfall associated with appending PET/CT protocols.

This video contains a downloadable job aid of the procedure and calculations. Both the video and job aid are necessary to perform this procedure.

Common Pitfall when Appending PET/CT Protocols At times it may be necessary or desirable to append a PET/CT protocol to an existing protocol. There are certain associations/connections within PET/CT protocols that can be compromised when an associated CT and or PET chronicle line is deleted. This can affect PET scan matching as well as PET recon parameters. When deleting an associated CT for AC, the “Match CT Range” becomes unchecked. Therefore, the CT and PET ranges are no longer connected. This results in the inability to reconstruct attenuation corrected PET data. Play Video ?
