This job aid will assist with configuring and using Dose Notification.

Computed Tomography Configure and Use Dose Notification 1. Dose Notification will appear as a pop up message when a planned scan range would exceed a user-defined dose value. These parameters can be prescribed for every scan range and are configured in the Scan Protocol Assistant. If the user attempts to load a scan range that would result in a dose that exceeds the configured Dose Notification thresholds, a pop up will notify the user. It is still possible to Load the examination. The dialogue box includes an optional field for the user to document a diagnostic reason for the requested exposure (e.g. obese patient).
