Configuration Essentials

This video introduces the configurations and settings that have an impact on the teamplay DOS application. You will experience what has to be set up before teamplay does can be utilized and what can be configured. To ensure the adequate aggregation and display of teamplay dose data, some configurations have to be set up by your institutional administrator. We recommend doing this for the first time some days after installing the teamplay receiver. Teamplay users with an administrator authorization get access to the template configurations and settings via the Gray icons on the main menu. These icons are only visible for teamplay administrators. Institutional settings which have an impact on the teamplay dose application are. The selection of the institutional privacy level, the possibility to retain the name of the institutional personnel performing the examinations, and the option to upload CT pixel information to display the first, middle and last slide. To take advantage of displaying CD images and to achieve conclusive data, we recommend to choose the standard privacy level and to enable the Pixel upload. Data, including irradiation data, can only be processed and displayed if the related modalities are enabled. Within the device administration, you not only enabled the imaging devices, but also include or exclude data contributing to the dose application. Enable your modalities. And select the check mark for the DOS application. If you want to learn how to enable and manage modalities, please watch the video teamplay enabling modalities. Categories may, for example, reflect the department structure and locations. You can filter by these categories to create views of certain modalities of a department. Categories and subcategories can be created on the categories page within the device administration. Please watch the video template using categories to learn how to arrange modalities in categories. If your institution has several sites at different locations or is separated into several departments like cardiology, oncology, or radiology, we recommend setting U data access groups. Data access groups allow you to control which users can access data from certain modalities of your institution. To use data access groups, you need to organize your devices in categories. If you would like to experience how to create and manage data access groups, please enjoy the dedicated video available on Kinect. Teamplay allows you to generate your own user roles. And associate them with those specific permissions. You take the different tasks and responsibilities of your personnel into consideration by assigning a role or several roles to individual users. To have access to the DOS application, users need at least the permission for the general access to teamplay DOS. Please have a closer look at the video teamplay manage user accounts to learn how you can set U user roles and assign them to different users. Last but not least, the setup assistant provides you with checklists to keep track of completed and pending steps in the setup process. There's a special set path also for teamplay DOS. You can directly jump to the pending configuration to complete it. Furthermore, the learn more options supports you with an online help functionality. And a link to a tutorial video if available. Restrictive Selecting this option greatly reduces the likelihood of statistical re-identification of a patient, however it also disables certain teamplay features entirely, for example, patient usage KPis and Dose Patient-Centric views.
