Cleaning or Replacing the Fan Filters on the Atellica® CH Analyzer Video

This video provides instructions on how to perform the monthly maintenance task of cleaning or replacing the fan filters on the Atellica® CH Analyzer. The fan filters are customer replaceable parts.

This video will show you the steps for how to clean or replace the fan filters on the Atellica Chemistry analyzer. This task needs to be completed on a monthly basis. The Atellica Ch analyzer has one filter located inside the left front door and two filters located on the back, left and center panels. To remove and clean or replace the rear fan filters, grasp the top or side of each fan filter and pull it out of the slot. Inspect the filter. If the filter is damaged or unable to be cleaned, discard per laboratory protocol and replace with a new filter that was provided in the customer parts kit. If the filters are able to be cleaned, rinse the filter with tap water until clean, then tap the filter to remove excess water and let it air dry. Repeat these steps for the filter located on the back left panel. Reinstall both filters by sliding each one into the designated positions on the left and centre back panels of the system, making sure the plastic grid is facing away from the panel. To clean the filter located on the inside of the front left door, grasp the top of the filter and remove it from the slot. Visually inspect the filter. If the filter is damaged or unable to be cleaned, discard for laboratory protocol an replace with a new filter that was provided in the customer parts kit. If the original filter is replaced with the filter from the customer parts kit, it is recommended to order replacement so another filter is available the next time it needs to be replaced. If the filter is able to be cleaned, rinse the filter with tap water until clean, then tap the filter to remove excess water. And let it air dry. Complete the procedure by reinstalling the filter and sliding it into the panel, making sure the plastic grid is facing away from the panel or door.
