Changing Field of View size on the SOMATOM go. system SOMATOM go.Sim, go.Open Pro (VA40) Depending upon the scanner bore size, there are different default field of view (FoV) sizes. On the go.Sim and the go.Open Pro, the default FoV is 600mm with a maximum HD FoV of 850mm. Sometimes all the desired anatomy is not visualized in the default FoV. There are two workflow processes to adjust the FoV: 1) before the reconstruction or 2) adding a reconstruction if anatomy is not seen or to reduce the FoV in the previous reconstruction.
