The C Arm system is where the imaging occurs. The C Arm system consists of the main unit with the touch screen control panel and the C Arm with the flat detector and X-ray tube. The C Arm does not need to be connected to power supply but is powered from the monitor trolley. Full functionality of the C Arm is only possible when the monitor trolley is connected. The detector housing consists of the following parts. The flat detector, the removable anti scatter grid, the keypad and handles for movement of the C arm as well as the button for switching the laser light localizers on and off. The flat detector has a high dynamic range. This enables an expansion of the application range, for example for soft tissue imaging. Ensure that the system is always covered by a disposable cover during the examination to protect it from fluid penetration and contamination. The anti scatter grid is located on the underside of the detector housing and can be removed. For example, for pediatric examinations. The Sea Arctic Move is equipped with a control panel on the detector. The detector handle allows easy movement of the whole system. This makes the exact positioning of the C arm at the OR table possible. The buttons are color-coded. Click the button to activate it. The corresponding symbol will glow and indicate that the button is active. The blue button is to allow orbital movement. The yellow button is to change angulation. The Gray button allows up and down movement. The orange button is to swivel the C arm. This function will move the whole system and it is possible to spot turn the system. The two colored button allows to move the complete system. For easy system positioning you can use the laser light localizer. Integrated in the single tank are the X-ray tube unit, the collimator system, the DOS measuring chamber and the exit windows for the laser light localizer.
