To start the simulation, click Practice. Navigation Help Select the icon above to open the table of contents. Click Next to continue. Next Welcome Slide The timeline displays the slide progression. Slide the orange bar backwards to rewind the timeline. Click the X in the upper right corner to exit the navigation help. Timeline Simulation Brain If the exam settings are fine, click on Start to start the examination. Start the examination Audio: After clicking on the Exam icon from the organizer, a new patient tab and image viewing area will open. If you have to make any changes, you can click on the Exam Settings icon. If the Exam settings are fine, click on Start, to start the examination. Please click on Start to continue. Localizer is running Audio: The Auto align Localizer is running. Click on the Localizer step to check the image. Click Localizer to check the images Audio: When the Localizer has finished, the needle will move to the Quality Check step, with a message appearing in the Scanning View area. Click on the Localizer step, to check the image. Please click on the Localizer icon to continue. For example, click on the Tra series. Open a series Audio: A message in the image area will indicate you if the AutoAlign was successful. From series, click on other orientations to open them. For example, click on the Tra series. Please click on the Tra series to continue. Click on the slider. Scroll through a series Audio: You can use the slider or the arrows to scroll through the images. Click on the slider. Please click on the slider to continue. Click on t1_se_sag to create the preview. Create a preview Audio: In addition to the localizer, you can also preview the area that will be scanned in the next few steps. Click on t1 spinecho sag for a preview. Please click on t1_se_sag to continue. Click on Show Scan Preview to open the preview. Show the prepared scan preview Audio: Now click on Show Scan Preview, to open the preview. Please click on Show Scan Preview to continue. Click on Continue to proceed with the examination. Proceed with the examination Audio: After you have verified the images with the localizer and the preview, click on Continue, to proceed with the examination. Please click on Continue to continue. Scan is ongoing Audio: The scan is ongoing. For example, click on the t1_se_sag step to check the image stack. Check the image stack Audio: When the scan is finished, the Summary Page will open. You can check images by clicking on the icons of the step. For example, click on the T1 spinecho sag step, to check the image stack. Please click on the T1_se_sag step to continue. Click on the Summary step to go back to the Summary page. Go to the Summary page Audio: After checking the images, click on the Summary step, to go back to the Summary Page. Please click on the Summary step to continue. Click the t2_tse_tra image to open the stack view. Open a stack view Audio: Click the t2 tse tra image, to open the stack view. Please click on the t2_tsa_tra image to continue. Click Select this Frame to continue. Select this Frame Audio: The stack view can be used to select or deselect frames for printing. To select or deselect single frames, enable or disable the Select this Frame checkbox. Click Select this Frame to continue. Please click on Select this Frame to continue. Close the stack view to continue. Close the stack view Audio: You can see from this icon whether images are selected or deselected. Close the stack view to continue. Please click X to continue. To export all series: 1. Check that all the required series are selected. 2. Select the node from the drop-down menu of Send. 3. Click on Send to send all the selected series. Send images to a node Audio: The Summary Page opens again. Select and de-select all series to be printed or exported by using the check boxes. To export all series: First: Check all the required series are selected. Second: Select the node from the drop down menu of Send. Third: Click on Send to send all the selected series. Please click on Send. Click on Close to finalize the patient examination and go back to the Organizer. Close the patient and go back to the Organizer Audio: The images sent to the PACS are shown with this icon. Click on Close to finalize the patient examination and go back to Organizer. Please click on the Close icon to continue. Congratulations! You have successfully completed the simulation.
