Brain Imaging using SZHRX Collimators Video

This Video shows IQ Neuro, and how to use the SMARTZOOM High Resolution and extended magnification (SZHRX) collimators for brain imaging.

This video will walk through patient positioning for a brain scan using the Smart Zoom HRX columnators. Starting with the SCHRX columnators installed and the system homed. Attach the head. Holder into the end of the patient table. At the. Acquisition Console. Select the patient from the scheduler and click Exam. Then select the SZ 180 spec protocol. And verify the patient position is set to head first supine, then click confirm. Position the patient with their head in the head holder. Move the patient table in so the brain is centered in the field of view on the gantry display. Once the brain looks centered on the gantry display, rotate the detectors to 90 and -90° to ensure the brain is ISO centered. The table may need to be moved up to center the brain in the field of. View. Move the detectors into 26 centimeters, which will show us 260mm on the gantry display. Then click go to. Load. The. Scan. The system will automatically move back to the start position. Click Start to begin the exam.
