Biograph Startup and Shutdown with Auto QC

Auto PET QC with Phantom – only to be used on fixed, non-mobile systems.

Daily Startup/Shutdown Biograph Horizon, Biograph mCT, Biograph Vision Auto PET QC with Phantom – only to be used on fixed, non-mobile systems. Daily morning procedures: (Restart, Checkup, CT Quality) 1. Check to see that PET QC has passed: a. If passed, check OK, and remove the phantom. b. If QC did not pass, re-run PET QC with full setup and time alignment. Once passed, click OK and remove the phantom. (*Note: if PET QC still fails, call the Customer Care Center). 2. Perform System Restart (System > End > Restart System) 3. When the system is back up, it will prompt the user to run a Checkup. The Checkup dialog box is automatically displayed. But if it is not, you can access it by selecting Setup > Checkup from the syngo menu. Checkup For best image quality please run checkup procedure. Please leave the scan room. The table will move out of the gantry. X-rays will be produced during the checkup procedure. Click on Checkup to start pro cedure. Click on Cancel to skip procedure. Time since last successful checkup: 05:42 Checkup Cancel Heb 4. Click Checkup. The system Checkup will begin. 5. Press the Start button on the control box when you are prompted to do so. Position the CT Phantom on the L-shaped bracket at the end of the scan table. 2. Use the lasers to properly align the phantom. 3. Select Setup > Quality 4. Click OK on the Quality Daily dialog. 5. Press the Start button on the control box. 6. Once the system has performed and evaluated the measurements, click OK. 7. Remove the CT phantom from the scan table. Once all daily QC (PET, Checkup, CT) has passed, the system is ready to scan patients. CT Calibration: CT Calibration should be performed when the system has been idle for 60 minutes. This helps to warm up and extend the life of the CT tube. Setup > Calibration > Press Start End-of-the-Day Procedure To perform Auto PET QC overnight: 1. At the end of the day, place the PET phantom on the holder at the end of the scan table. Overnight schedule should have been set up during initial training.
