Biograph™ User Interface Online Training

This online training describes the user interface of the syngo® MI Acquisition Workplace and states the purpose of the chronicle, task cards and subtask cards. This online training applies to the Biograph Horizon™, Biograph™ mCT and Biograph Vision™.

Welcome to the Biograph User Interface Online Training. This course will discuss the basic information of the syngo® MI Acquisition Workplace User Interface. Some of the topics include: Task Cards Subtask Cards Chronicle Status Bar PET Cine Display   Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able: Describe the user interface of the syngo MI Acquisition Workplace Explain the purpose of the chronicle, subtask card, and task card Summarize the function of the PET Cine Display Congratulations. You have completed the Biograph User Interface Online Training course. Listed below are the key points that have been presented. Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz. Describe the user interface of the syngo MI Acquisition Workplace Explain the purpose of the chronicle, subtask card, and task card Task Cards – divides imaging and display functions Primary Monitor Task Cards Examination 3D Secondary Monitor Task Cards TrueD 3D (option Fused Vision) 3D (extension) Viewing Subtask Cards – contain groups of parameters controlling different parts of the task Routine – set routine PET scanning parameters Scan – set the PET scanning parameters Recon – set reconstruction parameters for the selected reconstruction job Auto Tasking – setup automated tasks for PET reconstruction, postprocessing, and transferring images Replay – enables the manipulation of PET listmode data to reconstruct static, dynamic, or gated images Trigger – allows you to define gates and their respective gating modes Chronicle – displays a list of activities that are performed Status Bar – contains examination specific information, warnings, messages, application icons, and storage capacity icons Summarize the function of the PET Cine display PET Cine Display – a Maximum Intensity Projection (or MIP) image provides a visual representation of the selected reconstruction job Note: the MIP image is not intended for diagnosis Select the link to view/print your review material before proceeding to the final quiz.  The syngo interface uses task cards to divide imaging and display functions. The active task card appears highlighted. When you change tasks cards, the menu at the top of the window changes to correspond to the selected task card. The syngo Acquisition Workplace displays task cards on both monitors. The primary monitor (right side) has the following task cards: Examination 3D The secondary monitor (left side) has the following task cards: TrueD 3D (option Fused Vision) 3D (extension) Viewing   Task Card Features Learn about the task card features. The Trigger subtask card can be defined for the following types of examinations: Single Phase Cardiac Multiphase Cardiac Single Phase Respiratory Multiphase Respiratory CardioFreeze Dual CardioFreeze Single Note: Trigger subtask card parameters and controls change depending on whether the subtask card displays before the scan or after the scan. Parameters and controls can also change depending on single or multiphase mode, the units, the external triggering system, and other factors. The Trigger subtask card allows you to define gates and their respective gating modes. Three displays the current frame rate. Enter a new value to change the rate or use the up/down buttons to advance the frame rate in single frame increments. Four displays the width (W) and center (C) window. The width value is the range of grayscale values displayed. The smaller the width the greater the contrast. The center value is the midpoint of the grayscale at the midpoint of the window range and therefore the brightness level of the image.  Five is a pulldown menu used to select the LUT applied to the image.
