Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_guidedworkflow_001.mp3 Let’s take a moment and learn more about the features of the guided workflows. To open a guided workflow, select the guided workflow tile. Select the Guided Workflows Tile to continue. ? Select Launch button. Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_guidedworkflow_002.mp3 When the guided workflow page opens, you will see that this feature contains predefined workflows that display different tasks linked together. Many of these workflows are not something you may do on a regular basis, so this feature helps to remind you of the steps that are involved. The appropriate software screen for each step in a task is displayed, and the tasks can be performed from that screen. We will use the QC Settings and Master List workflow as our example. Select QC Settings and Master List and then select the launch button to begin. Select the Launch button to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_guidedworkflow_003.mp3 Now you are inside the QC Settings and Master List guided workflow. When you click on a step, it takes you to the page for that step within this same screen, without navigating away. The entire task can be completed here. The display keeps track of the steps you have taken. You are able to go back and forth within the pathway and you have the ability to skip items if not applicable. The current step for the displayed screen is indicated by an orange circle. ? Select the Minimize icon Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_guidedworkflow_004.mp3 Steps that have been accessed are indicated by grey circles as shown here. Skipped steps are indicated by a half grey and half white colored circle. If you haven’t gotten to a step yet it is white with a grey outline. You can also minimize the window. You can use that to get back there quickly even if you have navigated away and you can pick up where you left off. It is important to note that while someone has a workflow running, even if it is minimized and someone makes a change to one of the screens it will pull up the guided workflow screen. The software considers the windows to be in use, so that there is not a conflict, all changes need to happen within that workflow. Select the minimize icon. Select the Minimize icon to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_msa_olt_sim_guidedworkflow_005.mp3 An icon will display in the Toolbar. When you need to view that guided workflow again, you can reopen that guided workflow window using the Toolbar icon. By hovering over the minimized icon, you can clearly see the minimized window contents. ? Select Assay Status tile Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_analyzer_001.mp3 This simulation will discuss how to see if an analyzer is ready to run a test. For this example, there are two IM analyzers connected to our Atellica Solution. The first IM analyzer will be down for maintenance, so we would like to know if the second IM analyzer is able to run the TSH test. Let’s begin by checking the assay status. To get there, let's select the Assay Status tile. Select Assay Status tile to continue. ? Select Calibration Due tile Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_analyzer_002.mp3 The Assay Status screen allows you to review the status of all assays for each analyzer. This screen provides a high-level view of the tasks needed to be able to process samples on each analyzer. Here we see that it says calibration is needed for our second IM analyzer. Let’s next look at the Calibration Due screen to investigate this further. Select Calibration Due from the related links at the bottom of the screen. Select Calibration Due tile to continue. ? Select Home icon Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_analyzer_003.mp3 The Calibration Due screen lists calibration requirements for reagents onboard the system. The Calibration Due screen will tell us if we need to create a calibration order, or load QC or calibrator material. On the Calibration Due screen, we see that there is not a calibration due listed for TSH. Let’s continue investigating by taking a look at the sample intervention tile. Select the home icon. Select the Home icon to continue. ? Select Sample Interventions tile. Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_analyzer_004.mp3 Once you are on the home screen, we can see on the sample interventions tile that there is a calibration listed. Let’s take a look to see if this is a calibration for TSH. Select the Sample Interventions tile. Select Sample Interventions tile to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_analyzer_005.mp3 Here we see the status for the calibration for TSH on the second IM analyzer is awaiting acceptance. In order to be able to run tests on the analyzer we need to accept that calibration. If you click on the Test name, the Calibration Results Detail screen will display where you can select to Accept the calibration. This demonstrates the importance of keeping an eye on the Sample Interventions tile to address issues with calibration, QC, and patient samples. ? To do that let’s begin at the home screen view by selecting the search icon in the tool bar. Select the search icon. Select the Search icon to continue. ? Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_search_002.mp3 The search screen comes up, this is where you can search for a specific sample. You can include historical results or you can select to turn that off. At the search field you can enter or scan the sample ID, patient ID, patient name or rack ID. ? Select the Search button. Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_search_003.mp3 For this example, we have entered the sample ID. Select the Search button. Select the Search button to continue. ? Select the Navigate to Worklist button. Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_search_004.mp3 In this scenario, someone is looking for results. How do we do that? There are options to view Worklist information, sample location information, or Errors and Events. In this case, we would like to know the status of the sample and if the results are available, so we will look for the patient in the Worklist section. Select the Navigate to Worklist button to open the Worklist screen with the patient’s information displayed. Select the Navigate to Worklist button to continue. ? Select the Arrow icon. Blank audf_atellica_workflow_sim_search_005.mp3 Shown are the results for the patient that we selected.
