Atellica® Solution Start of Shift Guided Workflow Review Exercise Version 1.26 and Above

This exercise provides a review of the navigating the screens you would check at the start of your shift on the Atellica® Solution. The Start of the Shift Guided Workflow provides a structured way to go through the tasks that are recommended to get the system up and running, including checking the status of the system, maintenance, consumables, and samples.

Welcome Welcome to the Atellica Solution Start of Shift Guided Workflow review exercise. Blank Let’s check your knowledge on navigating through the screens you would check at the start of your shift. The Start of the Shift Guided Workflow provides a structured way to go through the tasks that are recommended to get the system up and running, including checking the status of the system, maintenance, consumables, and samples. In the default view of the Home screen dashboard, there is a Guided Workflows tile. To get started, navigate to the Guided Workflows screen and then open the Start of the Shift workflow. Select the Guided Workflows tile to continue. Blank Select Start of the Shift to continue. Blank Select Launch to continue. Blank The first task in the workflow is to check the system status. What does a red corner alert in the system status map indicate? A. The module is disconnected B. The module is in maintenance or diagnostics mode C. Part of the module capabilities are down D. The module has stopped because of a failure and is not able to process patient samples Blank Incorrect. A solid red module indicates the module has stopped because of a failure and is not able to process patient samples. Please try again. Please select A, B, C, or D to continue. Please try again. Blank Next, select in the software where you can go to view the cause of the red corner alert on the C H analyzer. Select the red CH-01 analyzer to continue. Blank Here you can see that the red corner alert is caused by I M T errors. Part of the capabilities of the CH analyzer are down, in this case the I M T is down so the analyzer is unable to process potentiometric assays, but the photometric module is still able to process samples. To clear the alert and resume I M T processing on the analyzer, you would need to resolve the IMT issues. Once you have all the systems up and running, you are ready to continue to the next checklist item. Let’s continue by selecting the Maintenance checklist item. Select Maintenance to continue. What manual maintenance task do you have to perform today? A. IM Autocheck B. Cleaning the Sample Tip Drip Tray C. Inspecting the Washer Probes Blank Please select A, B, or C to continue. On the right side, we see a list of the new packs or wells that require lot calibration and have no eligible packs available. This section of the screen will display as the default if is something to address, but will be hidden otherwise. Blank After reviewing this information, select the arrow to collapse this area of the screen, so you can get a better look at the rest of the screen which lists the calibrations with immediate needs. Go through and review each screen, and practice loading an item to the cart list by adding the Supply CH Conditioner to the cart list. Select Determine Needs to continue. On the Supply Needs screen, you can review the supply needs and add items to the Cart List. As an example, select to add CH Conditioner to the Cart List. Blank If using the tablet, the operator can take the tablet with the Cart List displayed to their lab’s supply location (for example, the store room) to obtain the needed materials.
