Standard User Interfaces There are four types of user interfaces that can be used to interact with the Atellica Solution software. Introduction There are four types of user interfaces that can be used to interact with the Atellica Solution software. They are the system display, shown here, which is attached directly to the Sample Handler Prime. Second, is the Module Display which is only found in the Sample Handler configuration. Third, is the Alternate System Display which has Microsoft windows remote desktop capability. Finally, the operator tablet, which is what we will be covering in this training module. ? Operator Tablet Introduction The operator tablet allows for remote system monitoring and notifications, along with the functionality of the primary user interface. The tablet software also enables multiple users to simultaneously control the analyzer and access data. Let’s take a closer look at the operator tablet’s features. Features All features on the system display are available on the operator tablet EXCEPT: Configuration changes – including data restore and copy configuration Scan capabilities (supplies, sample barcodes, Cal /QC / MC TDEF cards) Import / Export Printed Reports Database Backup, Database Archive and Delete Maintenance activities PHI / PII information is masked QC Statistics setup, printed reports and export features Features The operator tablet displays the same information and enables the operator to perform the same tasks, with some limitations, as if they were using the system display. ? Cart List The operator tablet includes the same features that are available in the system display cart list, along with a few additional features. Service Support Request Remote Session Remote Assistance Base: The operator tablet includes the remote assistance features that are available in the system display, along with a few additional features. Select the tab arrows to learn more. Service Support Request: The tablet’s camera can be used to add photos or videos to a service support ticket. Remote Session: The tablet’s camera allows for optional video sharing during a remote session using the Teamviewer function. Service Support Request Photos or videos taken with the tablet’s camera can be added to a service support ticket. Network Connection The network connection needs to be established between the operator tablet and the Atellica Solution system. Select the tab arrows to learn more. View Status: The toolbar at the bottom of the tablet software includes icons that display network strength and battery level indications. Troubleshooting: A connection error will display if the operator tablet is not within range of the Wi-Fi after 10 seconds. Any time the tablet detects connectivity loss from the PCC, it internally attempts to reconnect to PCC for up to one minute. After multiple failed attempts, a Connection Error will post and the operator must select the Reconnect button. If Reconnect does not resolve the issue, try moving the tablet closer to the Atellica Solution.
