Atellica Process Manager (Atellica PM) combines process management features into a single application that provides laboratory personnel with centralized instrument data monitoring and management. This course will cover the following four learning objectives. For navigation help, select the question mark button located in the lower right corner of each slide. ? Purpose of Atellica Process Manager Atellica PM combines process management features into a single application that provide laboratory personnel with centralized instrument data monitoring and management. The dashboard provides three-dimensional (3D) views of the laboratory, provide at-a-glance instrument and sample status and define the specific issues that require immediate attention. The dashboard also provides real-time views of priority samples and productivity. Single-Site Network Configuration The Atellica Process Manager: Is a software-only product Connects to the Data Router which routes data to Atellica PM from all other connections except the Analytics server Connects to the Analytics server, providing data for the Analytics reports Atellica PM may also connect to the following depending on the labs configuration: Data Management System (DMS) Atellica Data Manager Single-Site Network Configuration Atellica Process Manager is a software only product. Atellica PM connects to the data router via Atellica Connectivity Manager (Atellica CM) which routes data to the Atellica PM from all other connections except the Analytics server. Atellica PM connects to the Analytics server which provides data from the analytics reports. The Data Router receives information from the following sources depending on the configuration. Automation, Data Management System (DMS), Atellica Data Manager, and Atellica CM or I2I. ? Multi-Site Network Configuration Follow these rules regarding multiple sites: Each site must have its own middleware Each site must have its own Atellica CM with Data Router, but may have more than 1 (a Data Router cannot span two sites) Each Automation track must have its own Atellica CM with Data Router A satellite lab can be at a separate location but sharing middleware with the hub site When combining multiple existing Atellica PM installations into a single Atellica PM installation with multiple sites, data is only migrated for 1 site. Multi-Site Network Configuration Atellica Process Manager has the ability to have the software configured to multiple sites. In order for this to be possible, the following rules must be followed. Each site must have its own middleware. Each site must have its own Atellica CM with a data router but may have more than one. A data router, however, cannot span two sites. Each automation track must have its own Atellica CM with data router. A satellite lab can be at a separate location but share middleware with the hub site. Finally, when combining multiple existing Atellica PM installations into a single Atellica PM installation with multiple sites, data is only migrated for one site. ?
