Inspecting and Cleaning the Probe Replacement of System Liquids & Emptying Waste Container Cuvette Water Blank Daily Maintenance atellicadt250_dailymaint2a.mp3 Main: Daily maintenance is required for this analyzer. Select the tab arrows to learn more about each task. atellicadt250_dailymaint2.mp3 Inspecting and Cleaning the Probe: Inspect the probe every day and clean it as necessary. It must be cleaned weekly at minimum. Gently remove the protein deposits or solids from the tip with a cotton swab soaked in Solution 1. Dry the probe with a lint-free tissue. Never use abrasive material, as this would damage the delicate tip. atellicadt250_dailymaint3.mp3 Replacement of System Liquids & Emptying Waste Container: Check and replace the System Water and Cleaner solution daily before each instrument start-up. In case of insufficient fluid levels, a warning message will appear after initialization. The instrument will not operate until sufficient amount of System Water and Cleaner is present. Check the volume of the tip cleaning and rinsing solutions, and if they are low, refill them. Check the waste container, and if it is full, dispose of its contents. Ensure that the container lids are closed tightly to prevent leakage or letting fluids into the environment. atellicadt250_dailymaint4.mp3 Cuvette Water Blank: To access the Cuvette Water Blank, select Settings from the main screen. Then, select Maintenance and select Cuvette Blank. Select Start to initiate the process, which takes approximately 15 minutes. Washers will dispense System Water in all cuvettes and the photometer will record the background measurement of each cuvette with all the 12 filters. The first 40 cuvettes are filled, the absorbances are read, the cuvettes are dried, then the other 40 cuvettes are filled, read, and dried. The cuvettes that meet the criteria will be marked as clean. The cuvettes that do not meet the criteria will be marked as unusable, and the system will exclude them from using for measurements.
