Atellica® DT 250 Monitor Inventory and Load Reagents and Solutions Video
This video demonstrates how to monitor the inventory and load reagents and solutions onto the Atellica DT 250 analyzer.
In this video, we will demonstrate how to monitor inventory and load reagents and solutions onto the Italica DT-250 Analyzer. Let's begin by learning how to monitor supply and reagent inventories. On the main screen, the Fluid Levels area displays the current fluid levels of the system water, cleaner and waste containers. You can also enable or disable the auxiliary pumps in this area. The Fluid Status area displays any action required with the system fluid containers. Red indicates the container is not connected, yellow indicates the fluid volume is low for the system water and cleaner containers, or yellow indicates the waste is nearly full for the waste container. Note the auxiliary pump will appear in this bar if enabled by service. The item will turn green when the software detects the auxiliary pump module. Now let's learn about the reagent tray screen. Select the reagent tray icon in the menu bar. The reagent tray screen displays A graphical presentation of onboard reagents and solutions and utilizes color-coded positions. Green indicates the reagent is in position and in use. Blue indicates diluents and cleaning solutions. Yellow indicates reagents not in use, light or dark Gray with a position number indicates a free position or a reagent or solution has been removed. Dark Gray with a reagent ID or solution name indicates additional action is required, for example removing the solution and red indicates no active calibration exists for the reagent. Note reagents marked as red are only shown in calibrated view. This can be selected from the calibrated radio button. To see additional information about a specific on board position, hover over a position. Here you will find information including method name and reagent number, number of tests that can be performed with the present volume, number of pending reactions for the method, date the reagent was placed on board, and expiration date of the specific lot. To test the volumes of all reagent and solution containers on board, select Check Volumes and to generate a report about the reagents and available tests, select Available Tests. Note more than one bottle for each method can be defined or inserted. If so, when the first defined vial is exhausted, the reagent intake will automatically be transferred to the next one. Multiple lots of the same reagent can also be placed simultaneously on the reagent tray and separately calibrated. Now let's learn how to load reagents. From the reagent tray screen, select Place Reagent or right click on a desired reagent tray position and select Place Reagent. Select the desired test and position number. From the Reagent ID dropdown. Select OK Enter the reagent information. If you're using a barcode reader, scan the barcode on the reagent packaging or to manually enter the reagent information, enter the reagent's lot number and expiration date, then select OK. Select Apply Changes to move the reagent tray to the selected position. Remove either the small reagent tray cover or remove the entire cover. Place the reagent in the reagent tray. Replace the reagent tray cover. Now let's learn how to load solutions. Select Place Solution or right click on a desired reagent tray position and select Place Cleaning Solution. Select the desired solution and position from the cleaning solution drop down. For more information on how to prepare system solutions, refer to the Prepare System Solutions Job Aid. Select OK Select Apply Changes to move the reagent tray to the selected position. Remove either the small reagent tray cover or remove the entire cover. Place the solution in the reagent tray. Replace the reagent tray cover.
