Atellica® Data Manager Review QC Alerts Video
This video provides an overview of the QC Alerts tab and demonstrates how to review QC alerts.
To view QC alerts in Intellica Data Manager, we will begin by focusing on the QC Alerts tab from the Command Bar. A QC alert is triggered when the QC severity of an assay is of equal or higher value than the value specified for the QC severity limit. For alerts, unacknowledged QC alerts turn the QC tab red and the QC Alerts tab within the QC screen displays a red_When a QC alert is acknowledged but not resolved, the QC tab displays an alert icon and the QC Alerts tab remains underlined red. Finally, when the QC alert is resolved, both the QC tab and QC Alerts tab display normally. Additionally, a QC severity limit can be defined to prompt an alert for each test on a system, and a severity can be designated as low, medium, or High. Low severity alerts display as yellow, Medium severity alerts display as orange, and High severity alerts display as red. Now let's learn how to review QC alerts. To view all QC alerts, you can select the QC tab from the command bar and then select the Alerts tab. Or to view QC alerts within a selected severity type, you can utilize the QC Alerts chart on the home screen by selecting a portion of the chart, its label, or the chart legend. In this example, let's view all QC Alerts. Start by selecting the QC tab, then select the Alerts tab. Now let's review the main areas of the QC Alerts tab. The Alerts area displays all QC results with a triggered severity, the high severity listed at the top, followed by medium severity and then low severity alerts. When an alert is selected, all QC results for the assay that are associated with the alert triggering QC result will display in the browser. Similar to the QC Results tab. The colored graph columns display the position of the value relative to its population, reference value, and reference deviation. Statistics pertaining to the selected result display below the browser, while the Details panel contains expandable and collapsible content sections for comments, flags, and user actions. Additionally, a user comment can be added to a result by utilizing the pencil icon located in the user comments section. Finally, the button bar below the browser allows you to display result details or Levy Jennings graphs, omit results, add comments, or reset QC severities.
