Atellica® Data Manager Create a Patient Order Video

This video demonstrates how to create a patient order in Atellica® Data Manager.

To create a patient order in Intellicate Data Manager, begin by selecting Sample Query Browser from the command bar, then select New. Note, if this is your first time opening the Sample Query Browser tab, the Sample Query window will open by default. Before you can access the new button, the Order entry window opens. Enter a sample ID, then select an option from the priority drop down. Enter the collection date and time. Next enter the tests to be performed. This can be accomplished two ways. First, in the request field, you can type in the code or mnemonic of a test. Then select Enter on your keyboard. Repeat until all the desired tests have been entered or you can double click on the Requests field to open the requestable selection window. Here you can select tests from a list and then select Select Once you are done. Finally, enter any remaining order entry information. Note if you enter a patient ID, most of the remaining order entry fields will populate any associated patient information. Then select OK to confirm and view your pending order in the sample query browser.
