In this simulation, you will learn how to add text to images using the Text Annotation function. To start the simulation, select the Practice button. Open the Segment Menu [artis_ve30_common_postprocessing_tools_simulation_3.mp3] After the image has been acquired, you can add text and graphical elements to be overlaid to the scene or image. To access the tools, click on the Segment Menu. Please click on the Segment Menu to continue. Click on the Annotation Text icon. Select the Annotation Text icon [artis_ve30_common_postprocessing_tools_simulation_4.mp3] Under the Annotation tab you can emphasize image details using lines, arrows, or shapes. Just select the required annotation and select the area of interest on the image, that you want to emphasize. You can also use the Pointer function in the control room to place a pointer on the image so that it appears on the exam room display. Here in this simulation we want to add annotations. To do this, simply click on the Annotation Text icon. Please click on the Annotation Text icon to continue. Select the Free Text icon. Enter free text to the image [artis_ve30_common_postprocessing_tools_simulation_5.mp3] To add a pre-defined text, you can select the text from the Text annotation list and select the required position on the image. To add a free text: Select the Free Text icon in the workflow header. Please select the Free Text icon to continue. Select the required position on the image. Enter annotation Enter the text: annotation. Press Enter. unassigned annotation NOT in menu [artis_ve30_common_postprocessing_tools_simulation_7.mp3 Enter the text via the keyboard.​ Then press Enter to confirm the text in the simulation. In your control room, you need to press enter on your keyboard to confirm the text. Please enter the correct data. annotation Hide annotations [artis_ve30_common_postprocessing_tools_simulation_8.mp3] You have added now the annotation on the image. If you do not want to see the annotations or graphics on the images anymore, you can also hide them again. Congratulations! You have successfully added a text annotation.
