To start the simulation, select the Practice button. ? Image Tab On the Image tab of the Segment Menu, you can find also additional various tools for adjusting the view of the image. Select the colored callouts for more information. Select the colored callouts for more information. Invert Select this icon to invert the image gray scale, where bones black become bones white and vice versa. Acquisition Size Select this icon to zoom the image to the acquisition size. Vertical Flip Select the Vertical Flip icon to flip the image in the vertical direction. Take care when using image flip to ensure the correct labeling of images. Horizontal Flip Select the Horizontal Flip icon to flip the image in the horizontal direction. Take care when using image flip to ensure the correct labeling of images. Shutter Select the Shutter icon to hide unimportant details outside the center of the image. Zoom/Pan Select the Zoom/Pan icon to zoom by a factor of two. To pan the image when Zoom/Pan is active, click on the image and drag to position. Edge enhancement Use the slider to adjust the value from 0% to 100%. Greater edge enhancement creates sharper edges and more noise. Reduce the edge enhancement value for softer edges and less noise. ? Flip fluoroscopy images Flip fluoroscopy images [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_10.mp3] You can find the icon to flip real-time fluoroscopy images on the touchscreen of the pilot control module under Settings. Open the basic imaging functions [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_3.mp3] You can access basic imaging functions with a right-mouse-click on the image. Please right-click on the image to continue. Open the Image tab [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_5.mp3] You can also find further functions for adjusting scene or image views in the Image tab of the Segment menu. Let’s start with the tools in the Image tab. Please select the Images icon to continue. Select the Windowing icon. Windowing [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_6.mp3] With contrast and brightness windowing, you can adapt the image to display the gray scale region of interest with optimal contrast conditions. There are several methods available for windowing images in the control room. For example: You can use your keyboard to adjust the window values, or select the Windowing icon. Please select the Windowing icon to continue. Window the image using the slider [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_7.mp3] Then you can drag the sliders to adjust the image brightness and the contrast. Window the image using the mouse [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_8-1.mp3] To window the image using the mouse, press and hold the middle mouse button in the required image. [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_8-2.mp3] To adjust the window center (image brightness), move the mouse up and down. [artis_ve30_sim_image-view_en_8-3.mp3] To adjust the window width (image contrast), move the mouse left and right. Congratulations! You have successfully completed the simulation.
