Position of the Pilot control module (PCM) Default position: To the right side of the tabletop At the foot end of the table top To the left side of the tabletop At the head end of the tabletop Position of the PCM with respect to the patient table Orientation key Position of the Pilot control module (PCM) [artis_pheno_ve4_olt_move-c-arms_en_2.mp3] You can position the control modules freely in the room. When you change the location, make sure that the system knows on which side of the table the Pilot control module is located. Use the orientation key to let the system know where the Pilot control module is. This way, you make sure that the system movements always match with the joystick movements. The blue LED on the Pilot control module shows the current position of the Pilot control module with respect to the patient table. ? Besides the joysticks, you can use the preprogrammed system positions function to move the C-arms. There are several system position, such as system positions, anatomical positions, and direct positions. You can store up to three frequently used system positions using the touchscreen or the Pilot control module. Please note: This video shows all steps on an ARTIS icono ceiling. The steps are the same for ARTIS pheno. ? Anatomical Positions Anatomical positions move the system to create the same view for images, for example LAO/RAO cranial/caudal views. All imaging-relevant components including collimator and filters will be positioned in the same relation to the patient. System Positions System positions move the system into a predefined position for a clinical procedure (such as right side, head side, patient transfer, parking positions). The positions of the stand/C-arm and table will be restored in absolute room coordinates. ? Drive the C-arm to the Home C-arm position Only works when the C-arm is above the patient table Drives C-arm to Home C-arm position Watch the video how this works! It drives the C-arm to the Home C-arm position. When you press the key, and keep it pressed, the floor stand moves to zero degrees. Use preprogrammed positions You can use preprogrammed system positions to move the C-arm. You can access the preprogrammed from the touchscreen. Direct positions can be accessed from the touchscreen and by using the keys on the Pilot control module. Use the joysticks You have two joysticks to move the C-arm: Press down the left joystick and deflect it for cranial/caudal and LAO/RAO angulations. With the right joystick, you can move the C-arm transversal and longitudinal. Align the position of the Pilot control module with the patient table When you move the Pilot control module, make sure that the system knows on which side of the table the Pilot control module is located Press the Orientation key to change the location and align the joystick movements in relation to the patient table.
