This video explains how to manually move the C arm and stand in the event of a system or power failure. When motorized movements aren't available, please observe the following protocol to ensure patient safety. Monitor the patient throughout the process to prevent any risk of compression. Remove any accessories or equipment that obstruct the path or interfere with the rescue operation. Move the system and table into suitable positions so that you can access the patient unhindered. Since all motors of the Artispheno stand are de energized and all brakes are engaged, we need to release the brakes first. To do that, open the cover on the rear of the stand base. Open the flap. The stand now leaves its normal operation mode. No more authorized movements are possible. Take out the handheld. Remove the handheld only as far as needed to access the button. Try to avoid unwinding the cable completely. Additionally, never place the handheld in the patient area, and also never touch the handheld and the patient at the same time. The handheld isn't a sterile part. Before releasing the brakes, make sure that the staff and patient are at a safe distance from the CR. If the CR is angulated, it will return to an almost upright position. When releasing the brakes, pull the button to release the brakes. Depending on the charging condition of the emergency power supply, the brakes are released for about 5 minutes. Be aware that when you've released the brakes, the CR may rotate on its own due to the unbalanced mass of weight. When the brakes are released, you can only rotate the C arm and swivel the stand, pull or push with enough force to overcome the weight of the C arm. To rotate the table, manually press the table unlocking pedal and rotate the patient table. When you're done, press the button on the handheld to fasten the brakes. Put the handheld in its holder as it was before. The handheld has a magnet on the back. Make sure that the handheld is connected to the handheld holder. close the door flap. Ensure that the black metal piece is in full contact with the metal pins. Only then does the electrical impulse. close the door flap and the system will operate again. close the cover to resume normal operation. Drive the system to a system position.
